Have you got what it takes?

Times Table Rockstars are hoping to achieve a world record and they need your help! As you are all super speedy with your times tables and lots of you are sitting around the top of the leader board I thought you might like to have a go, with adult permission of course πŸ™‚

All you need to do is log on and have a go at beating your own personal record! You could record yourself and send it in, to have a go at setting the world record!

Here is the website link for further information.

Mental Health Week 2020

Next week is ‘Mental Health week 2020’ and the theme this year is Kindness. At school we have taken part in a Mental Health themed day where we looked at different ways we can support and look after our mental health. Now there is something that you can do at home too!

Here is a kindness calendar which you can use next week and beyond if you would like! The aim is to do two acts of kindness a day. One for someone else and one for yourselves.

You can use the pre-made calendar or create your own using the template or by designing your own calendar! You could complete this as a family or by yourselves. It is completely up to you. There is some parental guidance attached too.

As it is difficult to see others at the moment, you could always write them a letter or phone them as an act of kindness.

Please feel free to share any of the acts of kindness you come up with or complete across the week as a comment on this blog post! It would be lovely to share ideas. πŸ™‚

Love Reading

Here is a great website which has lots of recommendations of new books you might enjoy reading! You can look at an author you have enjoyed and see a range of books that are similar in style by different authors you might never have heard of!

There are suggestions for those of you who love David Walliams, Horrible Histories, Roald Dahl and the Rainbow Magic books. Enjoy browsing πŸ™‚

Home learning – Week 6

Dear Year 4,

Here is your home learning for next week. I hope you enjoy the different activities I have planned for you. I have absolutely loved seeing some of the activities and learning you have completed at home – it is great to see!

Here is a PDF version of the document as there have been some problems with photographs moving when it is opened on word on ipads. Please let me know if there are still any problems with the work pack this week πŸ™‚

Happy VE day! It is the 75th anniversary of when the whole country came together to celebrate the end of World War 2. Enjoy any celebrations and have a wonderful weekend!

I am missing you all lots but hopefully we will be able to see each other again soon.
