‘Battle of the bands’ shout outs!

It has been fantastic to see so many of you playing on Times Table Rockstars and challenging each other. Our tournament is going well, although Mrs Lawrence’s class are beating us at the moment. Remember, we have until Friday to see who wins this round!

Battle of the bands

Mrs Lawrence and I have set you a challenge on Times Table Rockstars. We have set a battle between both of our classes which will last from today until next Friday.

Play in any of the game types throughout the week, as many times as you like, and the winning team is the band with the most correct answers.

Good luck and happy playing!

Home Learning

Good morning Year 4,

I hope you are all well and are enjoying the lovely sunshine we have had this week. I’ve really enjoyed the Joe Wicks workouts this week, although they are tiring!

It has been great to hear from you and hear about the fun things you have been up to so far. Here are your home learning tasks for next week. I hope you enjoy them and if you have any questions or you need a little help, please feel free to leave me a comment and I will respond as soon as I can πŸ™‚

Week 2 – 30.03.20

I’m looking forward to hearing all about your time at home and don’t forget you can send some photos of your work so that we can see what you have been up to.

Throughout the week, I have seen lots of rainbows as a sign of hope and positivity in people’s windows whilst I have been out walking. Have any of you created your own rainbow or seen any out and about?

Stay safe, remember to keep washing your hands and I’m looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

Staying safe online

Good morning everybody! Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine.

Here is a link to an activity pack which can be completed at home to support online safety.

Perhaps, this is something you can do with your parents.

Please look at the β€˜Primary Home Activity Packs for 8-10s’. It involves watching a clip, before completing a follow up task!

Enjoy. Happy home learning πŸ™‚

Our very special visitor

A few weeks ago, the children took part in the Big Legal Lesson. We looked at how laws are made in our country and how they are upheld. The children thought carefully about the laws they would create if they were Prime Minister. We were very excited to have Victoria Prentis, our local MP come to hear all about our learning and answer some of our questions.
