Hello Year 4,
I hope you have had a lovely Easter holiday and have enjoyed spending time in the glorious sunshine! Here is your new learning pack for next week. This term we are beginning our learning all about the Ancient Egyptians, I hope you enjoy finding out a little about them this week.
Don’t forget if you have any questions or would like to share your learning with everybody then please leave a comment 🙂 It’s great to hear from you.
Stay safe and I’m looking forward to seeing you all again soon. There is also a little extra challenge this week if you would like to enter. Oxfordshire County Council are running a poetry and art competition for children. Please see the link below about how to enter if you would like to.

Miss Ross
I did my spellings and I managed to fit in five words before it was too hard.
My sentence is: Outside there was a beautiful scene with a crescent moon and some scissor shaped flowers that were amazingly scented, but no one wanted to go outside, because Timothy had an abscess.

Great sentence Alice! The ending made me laugh! What if you added a suffix to ascend or descend? Could you add more words to your sentence?

Hope you are having lots of fun at home! I look forward to your sentence. I think I might have managed to get 6 in to a sentence.
