Home learning – Week 6

Dear Year 4,

Here is your home learning for next week. I hope you enjoy the different activities I have planned for you. I have absolutely loved seeing some of the activities and learning you have completed at home – it is great to see!

Here is a PDF version of the document as there have been some problems with photographs moving when it is opened on word on ipads. Please let me know if there are still any problems with the work pack this week 🙂

Happy VE day! It is the 75th anniversary of when the whole country came together to celebrate the end of World War 2. Enjoy any celebrations and have a wonderful weekend!

I am missing you all lots but hopefully we will be able to see each other again soon.

Miss Ross 🙂

  1. Hi this is Alice and yesterday an interesting thing happened. We were on a walk out in the country side and found a lamb poking its head round a style and a few seconds later we found one that had somehow got out into the open and couldn’t get back to the field it was originally in. My sister and my dad stayed with it while me and my mum went to go find the farmer that owned the lambs. We found a house that led into the farm but when we knocked on the door no one answered, we went to go talk to one of the neighbours. We luckily found a man outside and had a quick chat, but he said that the lambs belonged to Broughton farm. He had his phone number which was great so he went to go call the farmer. Me and my mum went back to tell the others but we found them walking towards us. The lamb still hadn’t got through. A couple minutes later the farmer arrived and found the lamb with its mother and another lamb. They were all stuck. The farmer got them back into the field where they belonged and it was a joy to see the whole family re-united.

    • Wow Alice, that’s amazing! It’s a good job you were there. It sounds like a very exciting adventure and I’m very glad there was a happy ending 😀
